Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American Sportcaster. She works at ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and occasionally host SportsNation. She began her career at ESPN in 2016. The child of journalists on TV Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bi-lingual since the age of nine years old. It was a helpful skill that helped her secure her first position as a production assistant for Univision in Miami and gave her the chance to collaborate with producers of national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. The CBS subsidiary that is located in St. Petersburg hired her in the following year as a sports reporter. She moved in Rio Grande Valley in 2009 in order to join the team of reporters at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. The newscast covered stories related to immigration as well as drug trafficking both sides of the Texas-Mexico border, she was a reporter for the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of anchoring the 9 p.m. newscast in English, and a reporter again for 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. In addition, she covered anchors of sports and weather. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. She was also given more work to do. She also played the capacity on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins' parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. In the past, they relocated into Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She's younger than her sister. Her family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. Her parents divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995 she tied the knot with a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. In the holiday in the summer that she lived together with her sister and her sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered a job. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to look like, came to Mount Union University to see what she could get out of the college. It turned out that she was a fan of the campus, and the university offered the major she wanted. When she completed her high school studies, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was participant in her class formed a strong relationship with her. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be confident and self-confident. His passion for journalism greatly influenced her and she, in turn, determined to meet the expectations of him and not disappoint him.
